Shipping
The general shipping method for used Japanese vehicles into Kenya is RORO (roll-on, roll-off) into Mombasa, although the more expensive shipping method of containers can be arranged on request.
Pre-shipping requirements
Before a vehicle can be exported out of Japan for Kenya, the vehicle must undergo a JAAI test and pass it. After putting many hundreds of vehicles through this test,We have a good understanding of vehicles from theauctions that will pass this test, saving you money.
Import Limitations
All vehicles being imported into Kenya must be less than 8 years old according to the first year of registration in Japan. We also use our knowledge of the year of manufacture of the vehicle before purchase as well.
